Super Smart Linear Ball Bushing®轴承 

我们的Super Smart Linear Ball Bushing轴承和轴承座自调心、双轨直线轴承技术,其负载能力提高两倍,行程寿命提高八倍。为减少安装时间和成本,可出厂预装标准型或加长型轴承座。

 

Super Linear Ball Bushing®轴承 

由于采用固定半径弧形冠结构,自调心精度高,Thomson Super Linear Ball Bushing®轴承盘可补偿滑架加工误差。20多年来,该产品一直是自调心直线轴承的行业标准。与传统直线轴承相比, 其负载能力提高3倍,行程寿命提高27倍。我们的Super直线滚珠衬套轴承和轴承座是我们原创的自调心精密防磨擦直线轴承。
 

精密钢制直线轴承

根据用途选择直线导轨时,有两种类型可选:方导轨和圆导轨(导向轴)。选用哪种直线导轨,取决于其用途。

方导轨适于高负载、高刚性、高精度的应用中,通过导轨中与滚珠紧密贴合的滚道进行精密磨削,具有优越的性能。该导轨在对负载能力、刚度和精度要求较高的机床行业中较为常用。圆导轨也有多种优势,例如,当安装面不太完美或用于重载的垂直运动时,仍可保持平稳运行。

History

In 1945 the Ball Bushing bearing was invented by John Thomson Sr. The bushing was the solution to the stick slip problem in the linkage used to change pitch of propeller blades in aircraft. Ball bearings eliminated the stick-slip, binding, and chatter of the plain bearing. Ball re-circulation virtually eliminates wear and provides a constant coefficient of friction as low as 0.001.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Pillow blocks are designed to make it easy to mount a ball bushing bearing. They have bolt holes so the block with the bushing inside can be bolted to the mounting surface. When a pillow block is not used the bushing needs to be retained into a bore. The following video discusses several retention possibilities.

MAINTENANCE

A few general guidelines to help select from the available lubrication options: 

  • Light loads and high speeds do well with machine oil or low viscosity grease 

  • Medium loads and speeds do well with NLGI 1 or 2 grease 

  • High loads may require a grease with an EP2 additive. The EP is Extreme Pressure and uses special additives to prevent the grease from breaking down under high pressures. This type of grease will give the steel shafts a dull appearance 

  • Thomson LinearLube® is suitable for most industrial applications and is FDA listed
